The Robert Sisters’ recently wrapped production on their third feature as producers, THE REVISIONIST, starring Dustin Hoffman, André Holland, Allison Brie, and Tom Sturridge. The Robert Sisters’ second feature, A NEW YORK STORY sold to Vertical Entertainment and is available to stream everywhere. A NEW YORK STORY (previously called A VIEW OF THE WORLD FROM FIFTH AVENUE) had its world premiere as one of twelve films in Narrative Competition at the Bentonville Film Festival founded by Geena Davis. Their debut feature, THE COUNTRY CLUB played five festivals taking home “Best Feature Comedy” upon its premiere at the Manhattan Film Festival and the “Marlyn Mason First Prize“ at Flicker’s Rhode Island Film Festival. The film sold to Good Deed Entertainment for domestic distribution, and Archstone Entertainment for International Sales. It is available to stream worldwide. The Robert Sisters Pictures are gearing up to produce their third feature, a murder mystery.
Robert Sisters was founded in 2018 with the goal of creating inclusive work which strives to uplift both its audience and its team. With dynamic female leads, they create intriguing narratives which do not feature gratuitous violence towards women on screen. Fiona Robert
Fiona's second directorial feature, A New York Story (previously titled A View of the World from Fifth Avenue) world premiered as one of twelve films in Narrative Competition at Geena Davis' Bentonville Film Festival, and was a finalist for the Golden Script Competition. A New York Story sold to Vertical Entertainment and is available to stream everywhere. Her debut feature, The Country Club, was an official selection for festivals including Flicker's Rhode Island Film Festival where it won the "Marlyn Mason First Prize,” the Heartland Film Festival, the Manhattan Film Festival where it won "Best Feature Comedy", and New York City Indie Film Fest where Fiona was awarded "Best Actress". The film was sold to Good Deed Entertainment for domestic distribution, and Archstone Entertainment for International Sales. It is available to stream worldwide. Her third feature film on which she served as a producer, The Revisionist, stars Dustin Hoffman, André Holland, Alison Brie and Tom Sturridge. Sophia and Fiona are currently working on a murder mystery which will be their next film. Fiona began her career as an actress when she was chosen by Philip Seymour Hoffman to play opposite Tom Hardy in the Goodman Theatre’s The Long Red Road. Since then, she found herself in other engaging roles such as TV Land’s Younger, Write When You Get Work (SXSW Film Festival, 2018) and Chekhov (Sundance Film Festival, 2016) among others.
Sophia Robert
Sophia Robert an award-winning producer, actress, writer and co-founder of Robert Sisters Pictures.
Prior to her work in film, she studied to be a ballerina at the Staatliche Ballettschule und Schule für Artistik and performed with the Berlin State Ballet. She attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts and has a BFA in acting. The discipline she learned as a ballerina applies well to running a production company, acting and writing. Sophia has produced three feature films. She starred in, co-wrote and co-produced The Country Club with Fiona. It went to five film festivals in 2022, including Flicker's Rhode Island Film Festival where it won the "Marlyn Mason First Prize,” the Heartland Film Festival, the Manhattan Film Festival where it won "Best Feature Comedy", and New York City Indie Film Fest.
